About LIMS
Our Story
LIMS (Learning Institute by Masood and Salma) has been an ideal center of learning since its establishment in 1989, dedicating itself to the educational and personality development needs of students from Reception to Higher Secondary level. What began as a vision by Ms. Meraj Humanyun Khan in a rented building and then in a humble custom built premises in Hayatabad, has grown into a comprehensive educational institution, from Daycare/Reception to Intermediate College.
In 1998, the institution entered a new chapter when Dr. Salma Masood Khan joined as Director, with international qualifications and 13 years of rich leadership experience at BeaconHouse School System Peshawar. Under her leadership, by incorporating international perspective in education, she enabled LIMS to win the first ISA (International School Award) from UK in 2013 and then 3 ISA’s from the platform of the British Council in 2022 for LIMS Primary, LIMS Secondary Girls and LIMS Secondary Boys. LIMS achieved another significant milestone in September 2019 by launching LIMS College for Girls in Hayatabd – establishing separate Intermediate Colleges for Girls in Hayatabad, expanding our educational offerings to FA/FSc level.
Today, LIMS operates with a co-educational kindergarten, lower primary section, separate girls and boys middle to secondary sections (Class III to X), and dedicated LIMS Girls College for higher secondary education, housed in purpose-built with modern facilities.
