Inter House English Debate Contests were held for Juniors, Girls & Boys Sections on January 19, 2017.A total of 56 enthusiastic debaters got an opportunity to polish up their elocution skills. They delivered well- written speeches on the given topics and fascinatedthe audience by their arguments, logic, quotes and emotional appeals. The judges qualified following students from each category as winners & the rest of the participants earned confidence & applause from the audience.

A grand Prize Distribution ceremony was held on January 21, 2017 to award students for their academic and co-curricular achievements and teachers for their regularity and commitment to the job. Students of the Kindergarten, Primary, Girls and Boys sections presented enthralling items including physical display, skits, debates, English & Urdu songs, that were greatly appreciated by parents & other guests. A large number of students received prizes in the form of books, cups, trophies along with certificates for their outstanding academic standards and co-curricular talents.
3.SThe following staff members were awarded with a cash prize of Rs.5000/- each for their longer period of committed service at LIMS:

Support staff who received a cash prize of Rs.2500/- each for their longer duration of service at LIMS included: i) Mr. Zardad Khan ii) Mr. Amjad Khan iii) Ms. Elizbeth
Peshawar Police arranged Mock Security Drills at LIMS on January 30, 2017, to test their skills in the event of any emergency situation. ASP Hayatabad, Mohammad Shoaib, on the occasion said these mock drills are held to foil a terrorist attack on the school, save the students and to ensure preparedness in case of any emergency situation.
Quran Khwani for students was arranged on December 17, 2016 for martyrs of Army Public School, Peshawar and on February 17, 2017 for our Matriculation students’ outstanding result, for the inauguration of LIMS Day Care and for the beginning of construction of new LIMS Girls School & College block. A big number of students and teachers recited Holy Quran with great religious fervor. After the recitation they all prayed for the martyrs of APS, for peace and harmony in the country, all the departed souls, for health, prosperity and success of LIMS, their parents, teachers and themselves. May Allah the almighty watch over and protect all of us. Ameen.
